Folder WAV End User License Agreement

Please read this agreement before using Folder WAV. By clicking "Agree", or by installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app, and if you already paid, email us within 14 days for a full refund.

This agreement is between you and Sean Kaiser, doing business as OurHumanPower ("we", "us"). "The app" means Folder WAV, including its updates and documentation.

1. Your license

When you buy a license, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app on up to 3 Mac computers that you own or control. You may use the app for personal and commercial work, including paid client projects.

The app is licensed, not sold. We keep all ownership of the app, its name, its icon and its code.

2. What you may not do

You may not:

share, sell, rent, lend or publish your license key, or let other people use it;
copy or redistribute the app, except for one backup copy;
reverse engineer, decompile or take the app apart, except where the law clearly allows it;
remove or work around the license check or any copyright notices.

3. Your sounds stay yours

The app reads your audio files to show them, search them and play them. It never changes, moves, renames or deletes your audio files, and we get no rights to them. You are responsible for having the right to use the sounds in your library and in your projects.

4. Trials and license keys

If we offer a trial, it may stop working after the trial period. Your license key is linked to your purchase. If a key is shared publicly or bought fraudulently, we may turn it off.

5. Updates and support

Your one-time purchase includes the updates we choose to release for this version of the app. We may charge for future major versions. We aim to answer support emails, but we don't promise any particular response time.

6. Refunds

If the app isn't right for you, email contact@folderwav.com within 14 days of buying and we'll refund you in full. Once refunded, your license ends and you must stop using the app.

7. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose. Keep backups of your sound library and your projects.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits or lost work, that come from using or not being able to use the app. Our total liability to you for anything related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in this agreement takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

9. Ending this agreement

This license lasts until it ends. It ends automatically if you break these terms. You can end it at any time by deleting the app. When it ends, you must stop using and delete the app.

10. Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement for future versions of the app. If we do, the app will ask you to agree to the new version before you keep using it.

11. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

12. The whole agreement

This is the entire agreement between you and us about the app. If any part of it can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
